Haim (formed 2007) Haim is a pop rock band involving three sisters, Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim. Their drummer is Dash Hutton. Their famous hits include "The Wire" and "Don't Save Me".
Formation: The trio was raised in a very musical family environment. Their parents often let them play instruments with them in their cover bands. Although they began performing as a group in 2007, they didn't see it as a potential professional career path for some years. Este Haim was doing a degree in Ethnomusicology, which she achieved, whilst sister Danielle was touring with Jenny Lewis, and Julian Casablancas (Strokes Frontman).
Musical Career: Haim's first EP release, 'Forever', landed them a deal with Polydor Records, and a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation group. Haim went on to record their first album, Days Are Gone. Whilst recording, Haim were touring, which included performances at the Glastonbury Festival. Haim's album went to number 1 in the UK charts, as well as being in the top 10 in several other countries. In 2013, Haim won numerous "Best Of" awards. In 2014, Haim began recording their second album.
