Actress Teri Hatcher has spent a year taking cookery classes at a famous chef training school in France.

The former Desperate Housewives star has indulged her love of food by studying at Le Cordon Bleu Paris in the French capital, and Hatcher hints she may cook professionally as a sideline.

She tells Britain's Daily Express, "I've spent the past year as a student at Cordon Bleu and it has been awesome. To be in a totally different environment to what I'm used to has been so good for me. I also got to wear a chef's coat and pants and no make-up which was great. I do have other projects lined up but right now I'm in no hurry. We'll see what happens."
