Rizzle Kicks have announced their first new music in eight years.

The hip-hop duo - comprising Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule - are set to release the track 'Javelin' on August 30.

It marks their first release since their 2016 single ‘Slurp!’.

Alongside a preview of the music video, the pair shared on Instagram: “Our first single back and we couldn’t be more excited to show you what we’ve been working on together.

“It’s been so incredible seeing how many of you have stuck around and we’re so grateful for all the support already. Pre-save in bio. LET’S GO."

The 'Down With The Trumpets' hitmakers have released two studio albums, 2011’s ‘Stereo Typical’ and 2013’s ‘Roaring 20s’.

Away from Rizzle Kicks, Jordan has been helping his girlfriend Jade Thirlwall work on her solo album.

The 32-year-old star has been dating former Little Mix star Jade, 31, since 2020 and explained he "loves" being in the studio with his significant other.

Speaking on the 'Straight Up' podcast, he said: "The big part of the relationship is sharing creative ideas. I absolutely love that. I love having her in the studio and I love going to the studio with her. I like telling her my ideas."

Meanwhile, Jade has insisted Little Mix will reunite "when the time is right".

As quoted by The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, she told Australian radio: “Everyone knows how much I am obsessed with Little Mix.

“The reunion will absolutely happen when the time is right, for sure. It would be silly not to.

“I think sometimes when you say ‘hiatus’, people are like, ‘Sure! It’s over’.

“We’re like, ‘No, we genuinely mean we’ll come back’.

“I promise! I promise!"
