David Byrne

David Byrne (born May 14, 1952) is a Scottish-American musician, songwriter, artist, and filmmaker. David Byrne was born in Dumbarton, Scotland, to Tom and Emma Byrne. His family immigrated to Canada when he was two years old and later relocated to Arbutus, Maryland, when Byrne was eight. From a young age, Byrne showed an interest in music, teaching himself to play guitar, accordion, and violin.
