The rocker's teenage daughter, Gabriela, tells 14ymedio.com two police officers showed up at the family home on Wednesday (05Aug15) and ordered her father to sign a citation, but he refused, prompting the cops to take him into custody.

Aguila was on the phone to Cubanet.org reporter Camilo Ernesto Olivera Peidro at the time of the unexpected visit, and allegedly expressed his concerns that the officials had not clearly communicated what he was being arrested for.

According to Peidro, Aguila's current whereabouts are unknown.

He is no stranger to the Havana authorities - the 46 year old, who has openly voiced his opposition to former leader Fidel Castro and his brother, current president Raul Castro, was previously arrested in May (15) for publicly promoting a piece of graffiti art featuring the word 'Libertad' (freedom).
