Two unpaid interns who worked on Fox Searchlight's Black Swan are suing the production company, claiming that they were required to perform menial work and were not given the educational experience required by law for unpaid work. The two, Eric Glatt, 42, and Russell Nelson, 24, are seeking class action for their lawsuit to include other unpaid interns at Fox Searchlight. Footman told The New York Times that his duties included preparing coffee, taking lunch orders, taking out the trash, and cleaning the office. "The only thing I learned on this internship was to be more picky in choosing employment opportunities," he said. The studio had no immediate comment on the lawsuit.
