THE SOPRANOS star JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER was so overwhelmed and unhappy while battling anorexia she considered taking her own life. The 25-year-old has successfully battled her eating disorder and now helps others by talking about her own dark days fighting the disease. She says, "I really just said, 'Why can't I be normal? Why can't I be happy? I have everything. I just don't understand. I don't want to live anymore.'" After shooting the pilot for The Sopranos she returned to the set having lost 14 kilograms (30 pounds), much to the shock of other cast members. Producers helped get her into treatment and she gradually began to gain the weight back, but was slammed by fans of the show who posted nasty messages on the series website. She adds, "People just wrote the most horrible things like, 'How did she get so fat?' What happened to her?' It hurt so bad. "It got to the point where it was so overwhelming that suicide seriously crossed my mind."
