PATRICK SWAYZE - SWAYZE POSTPONES WEST END DEBUT

PATRICK SWAYZE has been forced the delay his debut on the London stage after developing a chest infection. The DIRTY DANCING actor was booked to make his first appearance in the West End production of GUYS AND DOLLS next week (begs10JUL06), but he has been unable to rehearse for three weeks. The 53-year-old's debut as NATHAN LANE at the Piccadilly Theatre has now been pushed back to 24 July (06), with his run extended by two weeks to 23 September (06).

Ummm...excuse me but the role Swayze will be playing is NATHAN DETROIT (not
Nathan Lane: an American actor who happened to PLAY Nathan Detroit in the NYC
version of Guys and Dolls in the 90s). Can we say "gaff"?
