PHIL SPECTOR - SPECTOR WRONGFUL DEATH SUIT DELAYED

LATEST: The wrongful death lawsuit filed against music mogul PHIL SPECTOR has been put on hold until after his murder trial. Late actress LANA CLARKSON's mother, DONNA CLARKSON, filed the wrongful death lawsuit at the beginning of last year (FEB05), but officials have decided to await the outcome of Spector's January (07) criminal trial before deciding what to do with civil proceedings. Clarkson was found shot dead at Spector's home in Alhambra, California in February 2003. Spector, who is free on $1 million (GBP555,500) bail, is accused of shooting her.
