Rock legend LOU REED has chilled the organisers of the Winter Olympics in Italy after pulling out of two New York shows, due to an undisclosed illness.
Reed is scheduled to perform at a medals ceremony next week (23FEB06).
No details have been released about what is ailing the former VELVET UNDERGROUND star, who cancelled concerts in Poughkeepsie, New York, and New York City at the weekend (11+13FEB06).
