Rapper JA RULE has hit back at claims a member of his entourage slapped a woman in the face at a New York City nightclub last week (11MAY06). The rapper, real name JEFFERY ATKINS, and his group were reportedly thrown out of Plumm nightclub after the altercation. A spokeswoman for Ja Rule slams the allegations, claiming her client wasn't even at the club when the incident occurred but in a studio recording his next album. A source tells PageSix.com the group were "harassing models all night long", until one woman objected and began arguing with the rapper's friend. According to the source, "His friend slapped the girl so hard, everyone saw it. "Security was quickly ushered over and the entire group, including Ja Rule, were escorted out." Plumm owner NOEL ASHMAN confirms the rapper was at the club, but declined to comment on the alleged slapping incident.
